Industry Mentorship program
SAIT's Industry Mentorship program connects students with industry professionals throughout a 6-week program over a 3-month period.
This program aims to provide students with the opportunity to advance their interpersonal communication skills, grow their professional network, enhance their understanding of the workplace and explore potential career paths through informal and formal industry mentorship.
Through participation in the Industry Mentorship program, industry mentors will:
- Enhance their leadership and coaching skills by providing professional guidance and feedback to their student mentees based on personal experience
- Take ownership for their own personal growth and learning by serving as a role-model and reflecting on their own experiences during the mentoring relationship
A SAIT education amounts to more than just grades. It's built on everything a student does - inside and outside the classroom. A Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is an official SAIT document that complements a student's academic transcript. It's designed to help students be better prepared to share their skills and experiences with potential employers, like you, both on their resumé and during interviews. A CCR allows students to track, reflect on and showcase the competencies and transferable skills they gain through volunteering, club membership, mentoring, tutoring and more. Find out more about CCR on sait.ca.
